Barred Owl
Recently a barred owl was presented to our hospital with a broken wing. He was brought in to us by the Juneau Raptor Center. We anesthetized him, debrided the fracture site, and repaired the fracture with two small stainless steel pins. Our hope is that he (or she) will again be able to fly and can be released into the wild.
